High-Expansion Foam Agents
Foam Concentrates with expansion ratios up to 1000:1 for suppression of Class A and Class B fire in large volume spaces.
High-Expansion foam concentrates produce flexible firefighting foams for suppression of Class A and Class B fires in large-volume spaces such as aircraft hangars or warehouse storage. When discharged through well-designed high-expansion generators, these foams can achieve expansion ratios up to 1000:1, rapidly forming substantial volumes that contain minimal water. These foams can quickly fill over-sized rooms and enclosures, effectively suppressing horizontal and vertical (three-dimensional) fires while minimizing water damage. High-Expansion foams are also used to protect outdoor LNG storage areas, where they can quickly blanket the flammable liquid surface for fire and vapor suppression.
Features
- Capable of flooding large rooms and enclosures to suppress horizontal and vertical (three dimensional) fires.
- Formulated for optimum system performance when used in conjunction with our high-expansion foam generators.
- Produces voluminous foam quantity with low water usage, minimizing water damage to property.
