Vapor Suppression Agents
Agents suppress the vapors and neutralize the pH of a chemical spill.
Vapor Mitigation and Neutralizing Foams provide a single agent application to suppress dangerous vapor release from a chemical spill, while simultaneously pH neutralizing the spilled material. This is critical when time is of the essence after a dangerous spill of fuming acid or other hazardous chemicals. The agent may be mixed with either an acid or alkaline water-based solution to neutralize a wide pH range of hazardous materials, including chlorine dioxide, oleum, chlorosulfonic acids, sulfur trioxide, and liquid ammonia.
Features
- Single agent application mitigates vapor release and neutralizes pH of a hazardous chemical spill.
- Can be applied using most conventional proportioning and air-aspirated discharge equipment.
- Foam concentrate formulation can be mixed with either an acid or alkaline water-based solution.
- May be pre-mixed and stored with the hazard appropriate neutralizing acid/caustic.
Benefits
Single, one step application mitigates vapor release and neutralizes pH of a hazardous chemical spill. This is critical when time is of the essence after a dangerous spill.
Expert formulation and tight quality control provide for consistent foam application and suppression/neutralization performance.
